What will I remember when I am old? The hard times? The challenges? Or will I long for the sounds of my children in their youth. The loud rambunctious laughter that I quited away. Will I have regret of lost time or will I look back knowing that I enjoyed each moment as it came. Accepting the circumstances as they were and pushing forward? Teaching my little ones to see the joys and not just the sorrows.
My tomorrow's memories are written in the tablets of today. Lord, let me live this day to it's very best. Thank you for the gift!

It's sad how we are always looking to the next moment, to the next great new thing, to the next phase...and wishing our lives (and our children's lives) away. It's good to pause and enjoy the important things which are so often fleeting moments that pass over us like a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.
